The wildfires in the LA area of caused untold devastation. It has also caused many people to flee the area for their own safety, including many celebrities.
One of the celebrities who fled the area of the wildfires is Chrissy Teagan. She ran from their Los Angeles home along with her husband, Jon Legend, their four children, and their pets.
As did many people, she began posting updates on social media after fleeing the area. Let’s just say that people are not very happy with what she has been posting.
The 39-year-old model shared photos on an Instagram story to help show people the situation of their family. Teagan documented that situation with pictures and captions, including packing her suitcase.
Another story showed her pets with the caption: “4 dogs 4 kids and a bearded Dragon walk into a hotel.” She was trying to show that there were a lot of challenges associated with relocating.
There were many who were empathetic with the situation they were in but others were not so kind. One called her tone deaf to the situation and said that she was not able to ‘read the room.’
The commenter pointed out: “She’s standing there ‘crying’ and John is taking pictures of her to post on instagram?” They then called her out of touch.
Irritation was voiced by many others, including some who spoke about how serious the situation was and how it was no time to pose for a picture. Others pointed out that it seemed as if she was just flashing her diamond ring in one picture.
Even though there were many negative comments, there were others who defended her. They reminded us that she is crying for the memories of her home, just as many other people are doing.
Others were upset that anyone could be so unkind as to laugh at someone’s difficult situation.
