Brokenhearted Bride Visits Fiancé’s Gravesite Just Days Before Their Wedding Day

Many women dream of the day they walk down to join their soulmates in holy matrimony on their wedding day. This event is one of the most important memories of most people’s lives. Some brides even plan their big day for years, doing everything from finding the perfect dress to picking out their cake flowers and coordinating the right songs to play. There are just so many details to work out when planning a wedding. But, all of the hard work is well worth it the moment she and her beloved is standing at the alter staring into each other’s eyes.

However, for Sara Baluch, when her wedding day came around, her dream had already turned into a nightmare. She never in a million years dreamed that instead of walking to the alter, she would be walking to her fiancé’s gravesite that day. Tragically, that is precisely what happened to this brokenhearted bride-to-be.

On Saturday, March 9, 2021, Mohammad Sharifi, her fiancé, was shot to death just outside of an apartment complex while trying to sell a video game system, reports the Times Free Press. Late police arrested a 20-year-old man named D’Marcus White, who they charged with Mohammad’s murder. The tragic incident occurred only two weeks before the couple’s wedding day.

Sara felt like her world had just come to an end. But, the woman was determined to honor her beloved on what should have been their wedding day. Her initial plan was to visit Mohammad’s grave on their wedding day, sadly due to thunderstorms. She had to delay her visit by a day. However, she walked to Mohammad’s gravesite wearing her wedding dress through the rain-soaked grass the next day.

Sara was wearing a lovely ivory chiffon dress with a white veil. As the bride knelt next to her soulmate’s grave, tears began to flow when the immensity of Sara’s loss hit her all at once. Thankfully, Sara had family support as she wept over the future that would never be.

The brokenhearted bride-to-be- gave an interview shortly after the tragic death of her fiancé. She spoke about how she and Mohamad had such a loving relationship and how he first asked her out on a date for a month before she finally accepted. She shared how they both fell deeply in love in just two weeks, saying they had the perfect relationship.
