Bloopers And Funny Moments From 2 Broke Girls

Not everybody was happy with 2 Broke Girls, but fans quickly came to its defense. In part, it was due to the chemistry between the actresses, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, and people couldn’t help but enjoy the banter between the two of them.

Even though 2 Broke Girls ended after six seasons, many people continue to watch it over and over again. If you happen to be one of those or if you are just a casual viewer, you will probably appreciate some of these fast facts and bloopers that you may have missed.

First of all, did you realize that the stars of the show are actually best friends in real life? In the show, they come from different worlds but the two actresses share a bond and that is what made the chemistry on screen so authentic.

They’ve even spoken about this, as Dennings once said: “Beth and I genuinely love each other and are best friends in real life and that probably reads. It’s not like you think these two girls are faking that they love each other, we really do love each other.”

Many people feel that the character played by Kat Dennings must be accurate because she does it so well. In reality, she is almost the polar opposite of that character.

For example, Dennings is sober and doesn’t do drugs, drink, or smoke. She even tends to stay away from those who have that type of lifestyle.

After 138 episodes, 2 Broke Girls came to an end. Many people don’t realize that there were a number of factors associated with the ending, including declining ratings.

For one thing, CBS was trying to secure the ownership rights to more shows and they shifted priorities. They were running three new sitcoms in 2017, so it essentially crowded out this sitcom in favor of those.

There was a guest star that may have come on if the show had stayed around for another season. Talks were in place for Cher to play the role of Max’s mom. Unfortunately, the show came to an end before it could happen but it would’ve been glorious.

Max and Caroline are often seen wearing extremely high heels while working at a diner. This has been a source of criticism for the show, with many saying that waitresses do not wear heels to work, even if they are sassy.

Caroline is often seen in those fancy heels but there is more to it than most people realize. If you see pictures from the set, she continues to wear the heels, even though they are extremely uncomfortable. This all came to the fore in an Instagram post in 2014 when she showed what happened after wearing those heels.

She captioned it: “7-inch Louboutins + physical comedy + episode 21 = lotsa this. And lotsa [Epsom] salt baths — which I will not post photos of.”

Something funny about the show is that every episode starts with the word ‘and’. The only exception to the rule was the original show, which was simply called ‘Pilot.’

The financial success of 2 Broke Girls is excellent for the actresses and although Dennings has never revealed the numbers on her paycheck, she was a big moneymaker in the show. Eventually, the show was sold in the syndication for $1.7 million per episode. That’s quite a payday.

Would you like to see a reunion of the show? You aren’t the only one. Kat Dennings spoke to PEOPLE in 2019 and said: “Oh my god, I would. I don’t think anyone has ever … broached that topic with me. I would! I think it would be fun, like a reunion!”

Let’s hope it happens!
