Bill Withers Joins Stevie Wonder And John Legend For An Epic Version Of ‘Lean On Me’
We have had a lot of memorable singers in recent decades. Those singers gave us songs that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, but like the rest of us, they continue to get older.
One singer that we will always remember is Bill Withers. Even though he decided to retire, he saw the need to come out of it when he had the opportunity of a lifetime.
As a performer, Bill Withers is amazing and we would all be fortunate to have an opportunity to see him perform on stage. In this particular case, however, he joined Stevie Wonder on stage for a grand performance of ‘Lean on Me’.
If that wasn’t enough, John Legend was there with him to play the electric piano and to sing along with the other two. They opened it up, then Wonder sang the second verse and then the others sang together in perfect harmony.
This is a one-time experience and anybody who was there for it was fortunate to be able to see it. Just in case you missed it, however, we do have the recording for you here and you will love it.
