There are certain honors that may come our way in life, but there are also some that very few people will receive. This includes the honor of being crowned the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’
Every year, People magazine holds a contest to determine who the sexiest man alive is. There have been many people who have won this award over the years, including Mel Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, and Michael B Jordan.
This year, a familiar face is in the running for that honor, Benny Blanco. Many people probably know him because of his relationship with Selena Gomez, as they have been together since 2023.
Benny interviewed with People magazine, and they described him as being ‘refining masculinity while embracing chivalry.’ They also talk about how he cooks, hosts, and woos.
In the photograph they used, the 36-year-old is wearing a three-piece suit and lying on a table with a Margarita and pizza. Another pic shows him cuddling a teddy bear while wearing pajamas in bed.

I’m sure that Benny and Selena Gomez are very happy with their decision, but not everybody is on board with the choice. Many people posted comments on social media, savagely denouncing his looks and saying that he is definitely not in the running for the sexiest man alive.
Other commenters were happy with the choice, especially considering his various activities. They were quick to mention that sexy is not always based on looks.
As of yet, the title has not been handed out. It will be interesting to see what happens when the votes are tallied.
