The latest rumors involve Barack and Michelle Obama, the former President of the United States and First Lady. They have been married for 32 years but now, according to media outlet Radar Online, that marriage is coming to an end.
It seems as if the duo is going to go through a split and it will be the first divorce after a couple has left the White House as President and First Lady. They currently have a $70 million empire that they are ‘carving up’ in preparation for the split.
According to some reports, mediators and lawyers are involved in the decision and are now coming to terms and arranging for how much money will be paid out in assets and what the conditions of the split will be.
Some sources are claiming that the couple is trying to keep the matter hidden and it won’t be until later this year when they make the announcement public.
One close insider shared the following: “They wish to have it all planned out in advance. They don’t want to get into any divorce battle with all those nasty legal filings.”
The first rumors about possible trouble in the marriage occurred when Michelle Obama was not with her husband at the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter. She also was not at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
There was also a recent time when Barack enjoyed a dinner alone and Michelle Obama was not around.
