Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn represents a beaming ray of sunshine for her dedicated fans. The 46-year-old actress had graced screens big and small since the late 1960s when she made her debut on a sketch comedy show to eventually play a supporting role in the Award-winning Academy film “Cactus Flower.”

Over the decade, Goldie has starred in numerous movies and shows, but she’s perhaps equally known for her long-time relationship with fellow actor Kurt Russell (age 70). The couple has enjoyed a nearly 40-year-long relationship and seems more like teenage sweethearts than a couple that’s been together for 38 years.

In a BBC interview, Goldie describes their first meeting.
“I was 21 and he was 16. I thought he was adorable, but he was much too young. Then, years later we met up again, and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. We both said we would never go out with another actor so it just shows you never can tell.”

But, as talented as Goldie Hawn is, fans have not seen as much of her in movies and TV shows over the past few years. It’s no secret that Hollywood is a town that’s all about looks and glamour, and often, even the most talented actresses can find it harder and harder to find work when they reach a certain age.
