Many of us work on a day-to-day basis on a job that we consider to be thankless. It is very rare that we get anything other than a paycheck every week that lets us know we are doing a job that is at least sufficient. Every once in a while, however, we hear about somebody who does get those kudos, and it can really help us to realize that something nice may come our way from time to time. We may be living vicariously through what they received, but it’s still awesome to see what happens. It seems as if it recently happened in Astoria, Oregon.
Bradley Rowe is a gas station attendant in Astoria, and he had a customer on November 20 that was going to turn his life around. It seems as if Rowe was trying to get a thousand dollar loan to purchase a 1998 Ford Explorer, but when Bill Ring from Warrenton Kia showed up, the thought of the Ford Explorer was long gone. In fact, Rowe said that he didn’t believe that someone was willing to give him a car at first, but it wasn’t long before he learned about a generous stranger that would put a 2016 Kia Sportage in his hand.
Rowe said that the anonymous customer was asking some questions, such as, if he was able to get a car loan and how much he was trying to get. Rowe told him that it was a private sale, and he just stood and chatted until he was done pumping his gas. They then said goodbye and parted ways. He thought that that was the end of it, but the stranger went over to the nearby Kia dealership to buy a car.
At first, the salesman didn’t understand but eventually, he got the point that the vehicle wasn’t for him. Ring stopped by to tell him to come pick out a vehicle at the end of the day, handing him his business card. It was the Kia Sportage that fit what he needed, and although it seemed too good to be true, it was a dream come true for him. Watch more in this video:
