Many of us were introduced to the concept of paying it forward when we saw a movie by the same name. It was something that we found really interesting because it showed us just what was possible when we were kind to others. After all, it’s not just the single act of kindness that tends to result when we show it to somebody else, they often do it to others and people who are looking on can also do the same thing. What we see it in action for ourselves, it restores our faith in humanity and it was also the subject of a very interesting and touching video.
The video below shows a train of events that starts out rather small and ends up coming around in an amazing way. In one scene after another, somebody is showing kindness to someone else and they are doing it, not because they are reciprocating but because they were the recipient of an act of kindness first. It’s a beautiful account of paying it forward and as we watch it happening in one scene after the other, we realize that the world is a strange and wonderful place. We don’t often take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the individuals around us, but this video helps us to do it in a touching tribute to human kindness.
There are very few times in my life and I have been left speechless by a video, and this counts as one of them. I know that it is a work of fiction and what happens in the video isn’t real, but it is all too often played out in life behind the scenes.
We may not always recognize when acts of kindness are taking place but when they happen to us personally, it makes us feel good from the inside out. Let this video give you that feeling for yourself that you can enjoy for the rest of the day.
