Dating isn’t easy. In fact, it’s downright stressful. Even if you’ve been dating someone for years, it’s still a pain to get dressed up and go do something outside of the house. The very worst thing? First dates. Especially if you’ve been out of dating scene for a while. Some years back, an insurance company shot this video of a man preparing for his first date after many years of not dating. Supposedly, the insurance company is no longer in business, but this beautiful video lives on. It shows the man nervously preparing in front of a mirror. A friend comes in and says “What’s up brother?” and asks him “Are you nervous?”
The man replies that he is nervous, saying “To be honest with you, I’m actually pretty nervous. It has been a while.” His friend goes on to ask him if he has specific plans for the date, to which the man getting ready explains that he has someone preparing a meal in the backyard for them. He adds “she won’t expect it at all.” Then the man leaves the house, but unexpectedly, he turns and walks back up to the door. Getting on his knees, he rings the doorbell.

To our surprise, the door opens and an adorable little girl is standing there in a polka-dot pink dress with a matching pink ribbon in her blonde hair. She giggles in delight when her dad says “Wow, you are so beautiful. Look at your shoes! When did you get so cute?” The happy little girl said “Mommy did that for me!”

When she asked her dad “are you ready for the date,” her adoring father said that he was. She then took his hand and led him to the back porch, where a table was laid for them to have dinner. On the table was a vase of beautiful roses.
