This includes the iconic musician named Frank Ifield. Not only was he a musician with a number of chart-topping hits in the UK, he also had a significant part in the rise of the popularity of the Beatles.

Unfortunately, Frank passed away at the age of 86 peacefully at his home. A close friend has reported this and confirmed the fact that he died.

Frank was born in the UK and raised in Australia and he returned to the UK in 1959. It wasn’t long after that he began taking over the hits in the UK, with songs such as, “I Remember You,” “Lovesick Blues,” “The Wayward Wind,” and “Confessin’.

What many people don’t know is that Frank was only 13 when you got started with his musical journey when he received a guitar as a gift. He taught himself to play and started writing his own songs. Before long, he was developing his yodeling and country music skills.

Over the course of six years, he released 44 records and many of them reached the charts in the UK. He also became a best-selling recording artist in New Zealand, Tasmania, and Australia.

Something interesting about Frank is the fact that he helped out a band that was known as the Beatles. He took the Beatles under his wing when he returned to the UK and had them open for him, which helped to launch them to stardom.

As a singer, he also performed at the Royal Variety Show for the late Queen in 1965. There was no doubt that he had what it took to make it in the industry.

Although he was doing quite well, Frank also faced a setback in 1986 when receiving a pneumonia diagnosis. He had to have part of his lung and vocal cords removed, so his music career stopped for a few years.

It’s sad when anyone dies but when a music icon such as Frank Ifield passes away, it affects people around the world. We hope that he rests in peace.
