Sometimes things happy that defy reason and don’t have a logical explanation. That’s what one couple discovered after they had their first baby, a sweet little boy. The young couple, who is from Turkey, is named Murat and Ceyda Engin. They were delighted to be having their first baby, just as young couples have always been since the beginning of time. However, they never expected what happened. When their baby boy, Cinar, was born, he had a red heart on his forehead. At first, the nurses at the hospital where he was born tried to rub it off, thinking it was blood. However, it wasn’t budging.
As it turns out, the mark was a birthmark. After realizing that this baby had a birthmark that was nearly miraculous, the nurses all took selfies with them. The baby’s parents started calling Cinar “The Love Baby,” and that nickname stuck. Anytime they go out somewhere, Cinar naturally attracts tons of attention. Everyone loves him and his sweet birthmark brings a smile to people’s faces. How could it not? After all, this isn’t something you see every day. The couple believes that Cinar is a gift from God, just as most couples believe. They believe he was born to spread love to everyone who sees him.
When the couple asked health officials about the birthmark, they were informed that it was nothing new. People have birthmarks all the time. What makes Cinar’s birthmark unique is its shape and its placement. Some babies lose their birthmarks as they grow older, or they fade away. Murat and Ceyda hope that Cinar’s birthmark stays right where it is. I have to think that Cinar maybe won’t appreciate this mark when he’s a teenager. After all, teenagers are notoriously self-conscious.
