You never quite know what you are going to run into when you are a police officer. One moment may be perfectly normal and within a blink of an eye, things can be totally upside down.
When police in Utah were called to the scene of an accident in the early morning hours, they didn’t know what to expect. When they arrived, they found a Chevy Malibu that had crashed after driving for about 10 miles down busy roads and now it was a wreck.
The car eventually veered into another lane, hitting a truck head-on. When police were looking at the damage, they opened the door to the Malibu and that’s when they saw who was sitting inside. It was a 9-year-old girl behind the wheel and her 4-year-old sister was in the passenger seat.
Thankfully, both of the children were uninjured and they were both wearing their safety belts. They spoke to the girls and learned that they woke up at 3 AM to take the family car while their parents were asleep. The parents were unaware of what was happening.
The sisters were on a 10-hour drive, heading from Utah to California. Their ultimate destination was to swim with the dolphins.
