There has been a lot of attention on the royal family in recent years. For the most part, it involves King Charles and his children along with their wives, but now Princess Beatrice is on the minds of many.
Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi just had a new addition to the family. It was confirmed by Buckingham Palace in an official statement, that they have a new baby girl.
The Princess of York, who is now 36 years old gave birth last Wednesday to Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. They were at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London for the birth.
According to the official statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57 p.m., at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.”
The little girl weighed 4 lbs. 5 oz. when she was born.
The statement included: “Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family have all been informed and are delighted with the news.
“Princess Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.
“Her Royal Highness and her daughter are healthy and doing well, and the family are enjoying spending time together with Athena’s older siblings, Wolfie and Sienna.”
