Have you ever had the opportunity to ice skate. If you have, you probably already know that at first, you are going to spend about as much time falling down as you will on the blades. After all, you are dealing with a very slippery surface and it is not something that most of us are able to do naturally. Then again, there are some people who just seem to be at home on the ice and the video we have for you below proves it. It is of a 3-year-old girl, named Brynn Cartagena, and when you see her on the ice, it is beauty in motion.
This video was taken during the Magnolia Open Ice Staking Competition. Brynn is about to go out on the ice and her mother is giving her a last-minute pep talk. As it turns out, this youngster really doesn’t need the push to go out and start skating. It is as if she had been waiting for this moment her entire life, even if it has only been 3 years long. Even though she may have been a little nervous at first, it isn’t long before her confidence builds and she suddenly takes command of the ice. She even has a big smile on her face!
If you were a 3-year-old ice skater, what song would you choose for your routine? I think Brynn picked the perfect song. It was ‘Muffin Man’ and she seems to be a natural to put on a show while it played over the speakers.
Although young Brynn may not be ready for the Olympics (yet), she is perfect for this competition. It’s amazing to see what she is able to do with such a limited time practicing and we look forward to seeing what she can do as her skills continue to develop.
