The death of anyone is a sad and shocking event but when it is a celebrity known by millions, it takes on an entirely different atmosphere. That was the case recently when Liam Payne died.
Liam Payne, who was once a member of One Direction was in Buenos Aires, Argentina when he died on October 16. He fell from a 3rd story balcony at the CasaSur hotel and the 31-year-old died as a result.
They described his death as occurring from injuries that were ‘incompatible with life.’ More specifically, he fell 40 meters and the autopsy noted that he died from ‘internal and external hemorrhaging.’
After he died, police in Buenos Aires launched an investigation and began questioning five people who were linked to the event. As of now, it has been confirmed that three individuals are being detained and a raid has been carried out at the hotel where the singer died.
According to the latest updates, two hotel employees and a businessman from Argentina, who is said to be an acquaintance of Payne are now under arrest. It is not known if they were arrested in line with the investigations initially.
According to other reports, they were arrested and are facing charges of ‘abandonment of a person followed by death, supply, and facilitation of narcotics.’
