When was the last time you were truly inspired by something you saw? Perhaps it was something in nature that caught your eye and let you know that your place in the world was just a little bit smaller than what you had first thought. It may also have been seeing one of your children or perhaps a parent do something that was really above and beyond what was necessary. If you have a difficult time remembering the last time you were inspired, that is about to change.
This inspirational story started when Danilo Alarcon, from Davao, Philippines was in a horrible accident and it left him paralyzed. Unfortunately, the city where he lived is not adapted to individuals who are in a wheelchair and he saw only dark times stretching out in front of him. That was when a little furry friend entered into his life, and he would end up being a part of him that is incredible.
Danilo was injured in a severe motorcycle accident and he was in a wheelchair. The doctor said that he was paralyzed from the waist down and would never walk again.
It was difficult to look at life after that moment and even more difficult when he realized that the town where he lived was not equipped for the disabled.
That is when he came across a dog named Digong. They became friends immediately.
They lived together for seven months and Danilo was teaching Digong to help him around the city by pushing his wheelchair. He would have a difficulty leaving his house without his faithful companion by his side. Thanks to this dog, however, he can do things that he never thought were possible.
