Principal Is Escorted From The Floor And The Teachers Storm The Stage For An Epic Event

When you’re in school, you never really know when something is going to happen that will change your day and possibly, change your year. For the most part, students just try to get from one day to the next without anything interfering but sometimes, something can interfere that really makes it all worthwhile. Of course, when you are at an assembly and listening to the principal talking to the students, it is likely that you have your mind elsewhere and it is probably the last thing in the world that you want to be doing. For these students, however, things were about to take an awesome turn.

It happened at Whitmer high school in Toledo, Ohio. They were aware of the fact that the principal would be talking to them before the homecoming football game, so they were not surprised when they saw him out in the middle of the gymnasium floor. What they were surprised with, however, is when a teacher suddenly interrupted the principal at the pep rally and told him to go sit down. Some of the students were probably rather excited that the principal was put in his place but others may have been wondering if something else wasn’t about ready to happen.

One of the most iconic songs of our time is Bruno Mars, Uptown Funk. We have probably heard it so many times that we have it stuck in our head permanently.

The teachers at Whitmer high, however, were about ready to take the floor at the pep rally and do an awesome flash mob dance routine.

At first, it was only a few teachers that were out dancing on the floor but soon, they had other surprises coming.

More and more teachers rushed out onto the floor and joined in the choreographed dance. Even the resource officers at the school and two mascots were joining in on the fun.

A number of decades ago, there were popular dance shows on TV, including Soul Train. People just loved to watch others dance and in those shows, they would often form a line and do their best moves in front of everyone.

Suddenly, one of the teachers ended up doing the worm dance and the students were all in shock. By the time the song was over, there were many people out on the dance floor.

Katie Peters, an author and teacher at Whitmer is the one who organized the show. She also made sure that it was taped and put online.

When you look around at the expression of everybody watching and everybody dancing, you can tell that they were having a blast.
