You just can’t beat the cuteness of watching little ones dancing during a school assembly. And it’s even more adorable when it’s a Christmas event. That’s when you grab your phone and start recording so you can watch it over and over while showing off their cute little face for years to come. At first, the parents of the kids at St. Elizabeth Childcare in Jersey City New Jersey had no idea what to expect when their little ones marched onto the stage. Maybe they were going to sing a Christmas carol or perform a Christmas play? However, it turns out they had something a bit different in mind.
The kids on the stage were all around the age of four. Some of them seemed really nervous, while others were bursting with excitement, and a few waved happily at their parents sitting in the audience. In all, it seemed like it was going to be your average Christmas pageant. But then the music started playing, and the little ones began going to work. They all began to shake their tiny hips as they giggled. And their parents laughed and cheered in delight as “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” started to blast out of the speakers. Some children jumped to the music with enthusiasm, while others were a bit more relaxed. And once a video of this precious performance wound up on YouTube, people just couldn’t help but comment on these cute little superstars.
“Girl in the front row far left,” said one commenter. “She was into it how she was flinging herself as she danced…to cute. [sic]”
Watching kids perform on stage is always a good time, especially when they’re putting their all into it. And these cute little dancers were indeed energetic!
“I like the middle girl in the front,” said one commenter. “it’s so cute and she know how to do it and she’s singing too [sic].”
Their entire routine used hand gestures along with holding hands while swaying to the song. And while we must admit that it wasn’t precisely Broadway, there’s no denying that the cuteness factor these kids brought to the performance was off the charts! And it was apparent from watching their parents that they were enjoying every minute of the show.
That said, not every kid was feeling it up there.
“The kid in the upper left is hilarious,” said one commenter. “he’s like ‘what the hell is going on, I’m not participating in this. It’s a set up our parents will tease us about it years to come ha ha Ha ha ha …[sic]”
While this may have been the School’s traditional Christmas performance, for the parents, seeing their children on that stage had to have felt like an exceptional experience.
“Human beings at this age are so darn cute and lovable,” said one commenter. “to bad we can’t stay this sweet and innocent. They make my old heart sing with joy and happiness they are the best of us. [sic]
“I really love kids enjoy while watching them…thinking they really love what they are doing,” said another commenter.
And for the rest of us, we had a chance to enjoy some very adorable kids dancing their little hearts out in celebration of the Christmas season. You could see that many of the children were grinning ear to ear as they rocked out some good ole’ fashioned Christmas spirit while filling their parents with pride and joy.
