When people really enjoy listening to somebody sing, they will go out of their way to see them in concert. That is the case with the artist, Pink, and when she is on the stage, her fans are really in for a treat. She pours her heart into the music that she performs and nobody goes away from her concert disappointed. Sometimes, they may even get a surprise.
Recently, Pink gave a concert in which she invited somebody to the stage and nobody saw it coming. It was a Vietnam veteran who happened to be in the crowd and he came up on the stage to perform the song. Nobody knew what to expect but then she announced that it was her father and the audience responded.
Her father, Jim Moore was sitting in the audience and ready to go up on stage with his daughter. He wrote a song while serving in Vietnam called ‘I Have Seen the Rain’. He had no idea that some four decades later, he would be performing with his daughter on stage in front of a huge audience.
Pink says that her father is the driving force behind her success. He provided her with a lot of support during his years so bringing him up on stage with her is just one of the ways that she could say thank you. The audience absolutely loved what they did and you can tell that the talent she has runs in the family.
