Mom Walks In To Find Husband Lying On Bathroom Floor Next to Their 13 Y/O Daughter

It’s a common complaint among single ladies that no “good men” are left anymore. They make a good argument to a certain extent, considering how many single men have a warped perspective about women. After all, we live in a society that’s hyper-sexualized, where so many men fall prey to a way of thinking that doesn’t allow them to see women as real people but rather fantasies.

Thankfully, a few men out there still value women as real human beings and hold other more traditional values like honor, family, and God. While religion isn’t for everyone, there are definitely benefits for many who give their lives over to something greater than themselves. I think of it almost like someone who exercises regularly and eats clean. For those who have strong faith and live their faith, it’s a matter of discipline and gaining control over themselves as much as anything else.

In this story, Pennsylvania mom Kari Boyer had a few words of wisdom for single Christian women out there about the qualities she believes are essential in a future spouse.

Her post has gone viral since she first shared it on February 9, racking up over 250 million shares on Facebook.

The story begins with a strange photo of Kari’s teen daughter lying on a towel on the bathroom floor.

Behind her, her dad lies curled up next to her with his arm around her waist.

Now, many folks would have gotten the wrong idea. But you see, when this picture was taken, the teenager was very sick and had been throwing up all night. Her dad stayed up with her to comfort her and help her when she needed to vomit.

Traditionally, the mom would take the role of staying up with a sick child. She would be the one stroking her hair and telling her everything would be okay. Even today, you have a lot of husbands who wouldn’t have bothered waking up since they had to go to work in the morning.

However, Kari’s husband shows that a real dad will never mind losing sleep to comfort his children and will either call in or still go to work the following day.

Kari aimed her advice toward “young ladies,” telling them they should pray that the Lord sends them a husband of a certain caliber. Here’s her message.

Her message is pretty clear “Do. Not. Settle.”

While religious men may not appeal to every woman, there are still plenty of moral men out there who will do the same as Kari’s husband. However, it’s up to single ladies to learn how to spot the “nice guys” out there, mainly if they are used to dating the “bad boys.” It takes extra work, but someone out there with a good heart is looking for a wife. It may just be a question of recognizing them when your paths cross.

Young ladies, when the season of life comes and you’re starting to pray for a spouse to spend your life with… pray for…
