Kidnapped Girl Asks For Help From A Shop Clerk And She Immediately Springs Into Action

When we wake up in the morning, we don’t typically think that our world is going to change from that moment forward. For the most part, we go from one day to the next without anything really momentous taking place. In life, however, there are going to be times when we need to step up to the plate and help somebody that is in need of assistance. That was what one woman found out the hard way, but she stepped up in the best way possible.

This took place in Lubbock, Texas were Savannah Pritchett was working on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a normal day but then suddenly, she was called on to help somebody and she is now being considered a hero. Thanks to her ability to think on her feet under pressure, a woman that needed assistance is alive today. That is because Savannah is a store clerk at the Waterford Triple R Gas and Mart in Fresno, California. She considered it to be a normal day but when a woman walked into the store and grabbed her arm, things changed quickly.

“When she grabbed me she was very very shaky, she was like ‘Please, please help me,’” Savannah said. “I saw in her eyes and how bad she was shaking that oh no, she was scared.”

The woman explained that she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a group of men who were outside. They had stopped for gas and the girl said she needed to use the restroom. She told savanna she was desperate and she wanted to get away from them. She also said they were armed with at least two guns.

Savannah recalls that she probably said “please help me” at least four times. That is when she knew that she was telling the truth.

Savannah led the girl to a staff only bathroom in the back of the store. She handed her a phone, told her to lock the door and instructed her to call 911. She then went back out calmly and locked the front door.

When the men approached the store, savanna unlocked the door so they didn’t get suspicious.

“I knew that if I left the door locked they would have caught on to something and probably took off,” she explained. “So I went back up there and I unlocked the door. They seriously had no idea that I knew anything.”

The men asked about the girl and Savannah said that she was having menstrual trouble. She was really holding her breath and trying to stall them until the police arrived. The police did come with guns drawn.

The female was taken to a local hospital, checked out and released. She was reunited with her family. The suspects were arrested on the scene and hauled off to jail in handcuffs. They did also recover the two handguns from the vehicle.

Eventually, all four suspects were taken into custody and thanks to this girls bravery and intelligence, the story went well for the young girl.

It is important to stay cool when you are under stress. Not only can it help you, it may save lives.
