Just Released: Elvis And Lisa Marie’s Brand New Duet Is Bringing Everyone To Tears

If you were around 41 years ago, you probably remember a day that shook the world. It was the day that the news broke of Elvis’ death, and it is still something that has left an impression on us down till this day. For many of us, the details of that day may be a bit fuzzy but for one person, it feels like it was yesterday. I’m talking about Lisa Marie, and she dealt with the death in a way that many of us could never imagine.

If you have lost a parent in death, you realize that there are going to be times when you go through rough patches. It seems that you are doing fine one day and before you know it, you are in the middle of grieving all over again. When Lisa Marie was going through one of those times, she decided to turn to the microphone and do something she had never done before. Thankfully, she had his music and the duet she performs with her father is almost too touching for words. For the song, she chose his hit song, “Where No One Stands Alone.”

Lisa Marie gave an interview with a British talk show, ‘Lorraine’. In that interview, she admits that she still talks to her dad from time to time. She has also struggled with addiction, and she needed some help during a difficult time. She said:

“I wouldn’t say I talk to him. I just remember everything. I can sort of pull out of the files whatever memories I have and stuff like that. And occasionally ask for help. Which was the case with this record. I just felt like a hand came down to me, it felt like that a little bit.”

This song was her way to feel close to her father when she needed it the most.

Lisa Marie was able to put together a duet with her late father that is hauntingly beautiful. Their voices blend so perfectly, you can tell that they are father and daughter from the start. You will enjoy every second of this touching video, including some videos and photos that were never shared publicly. It’s amazing to know that Elvis was more than a star, he was a dedicated father that still has a positive influence on his baby girl, even though he has been gone for more than 4 decades.
