Japanese Artist Masayoshi Matsumoto Bends 40 Incredible Balloon Animals

Have you ever been at a restaurant when there was a balloon artist going from table to table? They just seem to be able to fill any request and they will amaze you with what they are able to do. Perhaps you have even tried it for yourself and you might find it difficult to make even a balloon turtle. I know that I have tried and sometimes it is hard enough just to blow up the balloon, let alone form it into any unusual shapes. That is where Japanese artist Masayoshi Matshmoto comes in. What he does will amaze you.

“I started making these seven years ago, I was really inspired by wildlife pictures and wanted to see if I could create realistic animals of my own,” Matsumoto said. He took his humble beginnings and created something amazing over and over again. Some of his more complex projects can take up to 6 hours to form!

If this isn’t enough to blow your mind, think about what he goes through when he makes these creations. If you or I were to try to do something like this, we would have to work on it step by step and it would probably require a lot of stopping and starting. This artist doesn’t use anything except for the materials from what he is creating. There are no stickers or markers. Each and every creation of his is only from within his imagination and is only from blowing up and twisting balloons.
