His Impressive Riverdance Routine On Ice Is Like Nothing You’ve Ever Seen Before

It is amazing to watch people who are skilled at sports. Many of us will say that we watch a particular sport because we enjoy the competition but in reality, it’s simply amazing to watch somebody who knows what they are doing and is able to do it as if it is second nature. We see this in professional sports as well as in the Olympics. In the past winter Olympics, we were treated to some of the best athletes from around the world who were going for the gold medal.

Although there are many different winter sports that are played in the Olympics, it is ice-skating that is always a crowd pleaser. The competition is absolutely fantastic and when a skater is on point, there is nothing quite as beautiful. That isn’t even to mention the fact that they wear some of the most unusual outfits and their choice of songs can sometimes be a little bit out of the ordinary.

Jason Brown is just such a skater. Everybody loves to watch him perform but he doesn’t always follow the crowd when it comes to his routine choices.

In 2014, Jason treated the audience to one of the most unusual routines that I have ever seen. Although he was only 19 years old at the time, he was able to land a silver medal in the US championships.

His choice of music for the performance was Riverdance and thanks to his abilities, he was able to make it on to the US Olympic team. Eventually, he would take home the bronze.

Jason wasn’t able to make it onto team USA this year but he is an alternate. It’s easy to see why he is such a favorite because he displays a passion that many skaters are lacking.

Jason had the following to say about his Riverdance performance:

“We wanted to find something really special and something that was going to be really challenging and hard for me as a skater and for me as a performer and a piece of music that would help me grow and would push all my boundaries…”

You can see his performance in the clip below. There is no doubt that you will be amazed with his abilities:
