One significant part of any wedding is the first dance of the newlyweds. This seems to be a staple in just about any wedding you attend. And while most involve only slow dancing to a couple’s favorite tune. And while these dances are a big part of the ceremony, they’re not always that memorable for guests. But then there are those who want to shake things up a bit and do something a bit outside of the box. They take a dance class or hire a dance choreographer to help them make up a new and distinctive dance routine for their wedding. Then, there are those who wish to recreate specific popular dances. One such dance is from a top-rated movie that came out over 30 years ago titled “Dirty Dancing.”
In the now-classic film starring the late Patrick Swayzee and Jennifer Grey, there is a part during their dance scene that everyone remembers. It’s when Swayzee lifts Grey high up into the air. Whenever this routine is performed, that’s the move everyone wants to see. So when Ada and Mateusz got their vows out of the way, they chose to show the “Dirty Dancing” routine at the wedding. Ada wore a white sleeveless, knee-length dress while waiting for her new hubby in the middle of the dance floor. Mateusz wore black slacks along with a black button-down polo shirt as he strode confidently up to his blushing bride.
The couple started their dance routine as the guests crowded around the dance floor, anticipating something memorable. And, of course, the couple did not disappoint, as their guests all wore big smiles while relishing the couple’s incredible moves.
Then, the big moment everyone was waiting to see finally arrived. Would he lift her up?
The answer was a big yes, as the couple finished their routine with a bang.

“Oh my God, that was so amazing…perfect dance and the lift was just amazing… IF I EVER GET MARRIED I WANT THIS TOO! I WON’T ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE,” Chaos Queen gushed.

Many even claimed their routine outshines the original from the movie.
“Excellent – more enjoyable than the original in my opinion. Happy Anniversary you two. Hope married life together is as good as your dancing together,” Ivy Murphy shared.

And lots of folks noted how Ada and Mateusz pull off the popular lift move without a hitch.
“I must have watched this movie 100 times and the lift ALWAYS gives me chills. This couple nailed it perfectly. Outstanding performance,” Barbara Lenox said.

Some ladies even mentioned how Mateusz’s skills could be something that they look for in their future husbands.
“I hope my future Husband can dance like this!” Lara Viole declared.

There were also those who felt that both Ada and Mateusz had to be professional dancers because their routine just seemed way too polished for amateurs who didn’t do this for a living.
But, as it turns out, Polish weddings always seem to have something special lined up for first dances between Newlyweds.
“The wedding couples nowadays pay huge attention to the first dance and they always try to prepare something unforgettable both for them and for the guests. A very common thing is to even attend special dance classes,” Dagi and Rafa wrote on their website, Partners on the Road.

In any case, we can definitely agree that this couple totally rocked the crowd and flawlessly pulled off the famous routine. We bet this is one wedding folks won’t soon forget!
