Brother Holds Baby Sister, Can’t Help But Break Out In Song Bringing Mom To Tears

If you have a brother or sister in your life, there is a reality that you already understand. Ever since we were little children, our siblings become our friends and they are not only our first friends, they are our friends for life. It’s true that many of us may squabble with our siblings in our younger years (and sometimes when we are older) but the old saying still counts, blood is thicker than water. It is something that we will hold dear for the rest of our lives.

When the mom and dad in this story brought home the newest addition to their family, they were concerned that the older child would be a little jealous. They were thrilled when they found out that he was ready to bond with his baby sister. In fact, he was absolutely fascinated with her in every aspect. Recently, a little boy was holding his baby sister and when the mother came around the corner, she found him singing “You Are so Beautiful.” Any doubts that she had about their relationship melted away.

Most of us think that the song, You Are so Beautiful, as just an average love song but the truth is much more. Bruce Fisher and Billy Preston wrote the song as a way to honor Preston’s mother. She had been a guiding force through his life and he wanted to write something for her.

When Preston found out that musicians were using it in concerts to show their affection toward women, he was furious. Once the dust settled, however, Joe Cocker released the most famous version of the song and it is still popular today.

The heartfelt words of the song are surely why this little boy singing it touched the heart of the mother. He had heard it played around the house frequently and grew to know the lyrics and the melody.

We can only imagine how taken back the mother was by watching this interaction. You can see it in this heartfelt video below:
