Of course, your brother may not remember the first time that you met them, considering the chance that it may have been when he was just a newborn baby. Kent was only four years old when he went to the hospital to meet his new baby brother. He was absolutely thrilled with the prospect of doing so. Although Kent has Down syndrome, it doesn’t stop him from experiencing the excitement of the moment. The grandmother was there to witness the moment as well but she did more than simply see it, she caught the entire event on camera. We’re glad that she did because we get to go along to share that moment with them.
When you see Kent’s smile, you will recognize just how much the moment meant to him. He was holding onto a little blue stuffed toy as his father lifts him up so that he can get an up close and personal look. With grandma still taking video of the moment, we get to see what happens when they meet for the first time.
