It’s very easy to see when you a close look at our planet that it has so much beautiful diversity that it can make you dizzy just thinking about it. We can look around and see a wide variety of diversity in the world’s wildlife, plants, and landscape, sometimes just by stepping outside our home. And when it comes to human beings, there is almost as much diversity among us as there is in nature. After all, we have different languages, cultures, customs, beliefs, and physical appearances. But, we also each have our own unique personality, which only further deepens our diversity. That said, there are times when something truly remarkable happens that really makes us appreciate just how unique and beautiful life on planet Earth can be.
Humanity’s uniqueness is especially highlighted when a child is born who has something so special that it amazes everyone, including their family. When baby Bence was born at a hospital in Szekesfehervar, to say folks were taken aback by his appearance would be an understatement. Like many babies, he was born with a full head of fine, soft hair — which in and of itself isn’t anything to write about. However, what really knocked everyone’s socks off was his hair color. Baby Bence had a head full of gorgeous snow-white hair more beautiful than anyone could imagine.
Now, Bence’s parents, of course, we’re just happy that he was a happy, healthy baby. And while his hair is white, it does not seem to cause the child any distress, nor is it connected to any kind of illness. Also, Bence is not albino, a condition in which the melanin pigment is missing from the skin. And while his hair seems to have very little if any pigment, doctors believe that it’s likely to get darker as the child grows older.
And even though he’s still young, Bence has already become an internet star. The nurses in the maternity ward dubbed him Prince Charming. He’s a happy, healthy, and otherwise normal baby boy who just so happens to have the most lovely head of white hair you’ve ever seen. Welcome to the world baby Bence!
