16 Skaters Join Hands On The Floor But Their Next Move Leaves The Audience Screaming

When was the last time you saw someone who was really skilled at doing something? One of the first things you will probably think of is a sporting event. It doesn’t matter if it is baseball, football or any other sport; when people play professionally, only the best will take the field. That is also true of ice-skating.

The performance that is shown in this video is from the 2010 World Synchronized Skating Championships. As you watch these athletes skating with each other, it is amazing how they are able to remain perfectly in sync. It doesn’t matter how fast they are going or what moves they are making, they are all in tandem. Each of the teams did fantastically but there was one that stood out from the rest.

Wikipedia defines synchronized skating in the following way:

synchronized skating is a discipline of figure skating where 8-20 skaters skate together as one team. The team moves as a flowing unit at high speed while completing difficult footwork.”

The team that ended up at the top was Team Canada. They weren’t chosen at random but rather, they earned that spot with their fantastic routine. It only took a few seconds into the routine before everyone could see that the all-female synchronized skating team was now heading to the top.

As you are watching the video, you can tell why the crowd was going crazy. At times, the crowd was so excited that the announcers had a hard time getting a word in.

There were many comments, including: “It was good right from the beginning when she wiped off her shoulder.”

This routine has more than 9 million views on YouTube and it is still going strong. As you watch the video below, you will see how easy it is to get caught up in the action
