If there is one thing that we have been introduced to in recent years, it’s plenty of phenomenal talent. It happens online when somebody posts a video and it goes viral for every good reason. It also happens on some of the television talent shows, such as America’s Got Talent, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Watching the shows is a guaranteed way to see someone who is sure to be the next big thing. Sometimes, they are easy to recognize but at other times, they truly take us by surprise. I’m sure that is how the judges felt the night that Susan Boyle stepped out on stage, opened her mouth and began singing so beautifully. Since that time, she has become almost a household name.
In the video that you see below, Susan Boyle is on Dancing with the Stars and she is singing along with her childhood idol, Donny Osmond. They are singing the world premiere of the first song on her first album and receiving a standing ovation for doing it! Interestingly, that is also the name of the album and the song was, “This Is the Moment”. It became available in the United States in 2012 and it helped to take Susan Boyle’s career to an even higher level. With such a fantastic voice and the celebrity status, it will be interesting to see how far she is able to go. For the moments she was standing on stage with Donny Osmond, however, it was a moment to remember.
Donny Osmond is one of those timeless celebrities that may not be as famous as some, but I think that everybody knows who he is. He was once part of the “Donny and Marie” show and that variety show helped to push his career to the next level.
As Susan Boyle and Donny Osmond are singing the song, there is a dance taking place in front of them that is absolutely beautiful. I’m sure that this is a moment Susan Boyle will remember for the rest of her life.
