In November 2021, Dawn French snapped a few pictures with her niece, Hannah, and fans were amazed by how much the two women favored each other.
The Vicar of Dibley star was attending a special Adele TV concert on ITV to promote her newest album, “30.”
Dawn wrote on her social media:
“Out on the razz w/ @frrenchiee to see @adele last night. Wooooweeee! Girl can SING! And Adele wasn’t bad either…”.

Hannah, born in 1993, is 36 years younger than her aunt, but many fans felt they looked so much alike, as though they were really mother and daughter!

Fans also showered Dawn with compliments on her newest hairstyle, which was a gorgeous blonde quiff at the time.
Presenter Fearne Cotton wrote:
“Dawnio!!! You look sensational”, while actress Suranne Jones said, “Thanks for the sweets, gorgeous to see you both xx.”

Another fan confused Hannah for Dawn’s biological daughter, writing:
“Goodness your girl is your absolute image. So beautiful.”
However, Hannah is Dawn’s niece and not her daughter, although many often mistake them for being so.
In 2008, Dawn wrote to Hannah in her autobiography titled “Dear Fatty,”:
“Right from the moment you were born, on Boxing Day 1993, and when I first looked into your eyes, I knew we were linked in a profound way.”
“I am so glad you’re here, that you’re my niece and I cherish our mysterious sameness.”
“I can’t apologise enough for the lifetime of comparison to me you have already had to, and will in the future, endure. The endless comments about how you and I are so similar must be agonising.”
