When was the last time you saw someone who was truly talented? Admittedly, we get to see talent on television every day if we like and we can also look at it on the Internet. It just seems as if everybody has something that they want to share with the world and they have the opportunity to do so today in ways that weren’t possible just a few short years ago. That being said, seeing talent online or on TV is one thing but seeing it in person is quite another.
One of the ways that we may be able to see or perhaps even show talent is through a local talent show. It isn’t necessarily going to reach a worldwide audience but then again, it can give us the opportunity to reach an audience that really cares about us. Many schools have talent shows and they may do them regularly, perhaps even more often than once per year. If somebody in the school has something to show to others, they can use that platform to do it and sometimes, they may even get more traction than they thought possible.
What would you consider to be talent? Some people would say it is the ability to sing and others may claim that it is the ability to dance. In reality, however, it isn’t just about singing or dancing, it is about doing something to the extreme. That was what these young men were able to do when they performed a hand clap skit for their classmates. They sat in front of everyone with straight faces, sunglasses and I’m sure that everyone was wondering what in the world they were going to do.
Although the young men don’t say a single word throughout the entire skit, the fact that they worked on it hard is easy to see. They slapped their legs, clap their hands and make gestures with their arms. It’s absolutely amazing to watch them work in unison with each other and by the time they are done, they get a well deserved applause.
