It doesn’t matter who we are, there are going to be times when we feel as if we are stuck in a rut. At times, it can feel as if we are doing the same thing over and over again each and every day. It could be that we are simply doing something that we enjoy doing, but it other times, it can be a little different. For example, we probably all enjoy watching TV but if you find that you are parked on the couch watching TV over and over again, you may feel as if you don’t have a rich and fulfilling existence. In order to compensate, we may try to do something new but that also tends to miss the mark.
Doing something interesting does not always involve doing something new and at times, it’s a good idea to look to the old and what it has to offer. For example, you could watch some of the current game shows on television because they have a lot to offer but have you ever thought about going retro? All you have to do is look online and you will find a plethora of videos that have documented some of the old game shows for your viewing pleasure. It’s a great way to reacquaint yourself with those shows and you may just find they have something interesting to offer.
There have been some game shows that have been around for quite a while and it is always interesting to watch them. Then again, there are also game shows that have come and gone a long time ago. They may have disappeared because they weren’t very popular but it doesn’t mean they have nothing to offer. In fact, if you look at some of those old game show failures, you might just find there is something to laugh about.
When something bad happens to us and we fall short of the mark, it can bruise our ego severely. If we do it in front of a few people, it can make us run away in embarrassment. Imagine the feeling that these people had when they failed in front of a nationwide audience!
