If there is one thing that we know about the world around us, it’s the fact that things are always changing. It just seems as if we are getting used to one thing when suddenly, the latest and the greatest seems to come out. Perhaps many of us can remember when our parents were calling us and asking for help programming a VCR. Today, a VCR is an ancient memory.
This is an example of how new technology has really made a difference in at least one person’s life. This video was shared by Apryl Arturo Gastelum. Her grandmother was trying to figure out her new smartphone and it is absolutely the most hysterical thing you are going to see all week. When it comes to being utterly confused over an electronic device, there is nobody that is going to beat this grandmother. Just watch and see for yourself.
She begins by asking her granddaughter why she turned her phone into a mirror. You have to admit that the grandmother voice she gives of this video is absolutely fantastic.
“I’m looking at my face and … oh my, look at all these wrinkles,” she grumbles. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Her granddaughter lets her know that it is just a camera and even asked her to take a selfie. Her grandmother does not understand.
Selfie was added to the Oxford English dictionary five years ago. That is probably about the same time when this grandmother bought her flip phone.
“A selfie? What the heck is a selfie?”
“This is supposed to be a smartphone. It’s not that smart. I want my flip phone back!”
Her granddaughter tells her to take a picture but it only serves to confuse her grandmother even more
Fortunately, the granddaughter was willing to upload this video so that everybody could enjoy it on YouTube. She thinks she is the cutest grandma in all Phoenix.
So what does she know about the smartphone? “She only knows how to make phone calls and even then says her smartphone is only good at deleting stuff.”
