Rodney Dangerfield In 1981 Performance That Has President Regan Laughing Like Crazy

Although all of us have a gift of some sort that we can share with others, there is a special group of people that has a gift that everyone can enjoy. They are the people that make us laugh, and it doesn’t matter if they are good at telling a joke, making funny faces or making silly noises with their armpits, the fact that they are making us laugh is something that we appreciate. Of course, anybody could probably make us laugh to a certain extent but when a comedian is skilled at what they do, they can make us laugh just by having us anticipate a joke.

There have been many comedians over the years who have shown an exceptional amount of skill and Rodney Dangerfield is in that number. Although he is no longer alive, we can still enjoy the humor that he shared with us through online videos. If you remember, Rodney Dangerfield was very popular several decades ago and he was the comedian who ‘got no respect’. He always had something funny to say, regardless of whether he was doing a standup routine or if he was on a talk show, giving an interview. When Rodney Dangerfield was talking, there was guaranteed to be somebody laughing.

In the video that you see below, Rodney Dangerfield is doing a standup routine and he has somebody famous laughing. It was the then president, Ronald Reagan, and this 1981 performance had Reagan laughing hard. It happened during a special on NBC, “The Stars Salute the President”.

The event took place at Ford’s Theater in Washington DC and you can probably pick out quite a few famous politicians and celebrities when it shows the audience.
