If you had to choose a favorite comedian, who would it be? We all probably have our own criteria as to what makes somebody funny. Some people like to be shocked and they enjoy something that makes them laugh unexpectedly. Other people enjoy the art of storytelling and adding a humorous twist at the end to make people smile. It either case, when it is done by somebody who knows what they are doing, it can leave an entire audience laughing. It doesn’t matter if they’ve heard the joke before or not, they will laugh anyway.
One of the comedians who perhaps made people laugh more than any other was Robin Williams. He started out as a standup comedian and then got a part on a television show, Mork and Mindy. He continued to display an ability to make people laugh, regardless of the story he was telling. Eventually, he was able to break into movies and when he did so, we realized there was much more to this individual than simply the ability to tell a joke. He could make people laugh and cry in the same scene, and he is one of the best actors that many of us have ever seen.
Although Robin Williams played in many different movies, Mrs. Doubtfire was probably one of his most popular. It was a touching movie that perhaps made us cry when we thought about everything that was going on within it. Even though that was the case, however, Robin Williams still had the ability to make us laugh and he did so many times.
Mrs. Doubtfire was in the movie theaters in 1993 and it wasn’t accepted as a great movie at first. That being said, the success of the movie is undeniable and it is considered to be in the top 100 funniest movies of all time. In the video clip below, you get to see the cooking scene from Mrs. Doubtfire and you will laugh as if you had never seen it before.
