Kids Line Up On Stage For The School Christmas Recital, Leave The Audience In Stitches When They Start Shaking

Did you ever notice that there are certain songs that just make you want to dance every time you hear them? They are wonderful, regardless of who happens to be playing them but when it is a group of kindergartners and preschoolers that are singing them, it is an extra special treat. That is not only true for the children who are putting on the performance but it also makes for a rather nice moment for anyone who was in the audience as well.

This video is likely to make you feel quite nostalgic. It involves almost everything that people love about the holidays, including individuals having a good time, lots of decorations and some children singing iconic Christmas music. Each of these cute little performers has their own style but when they put everything together, they really steal the show.

We aren’t sure exactly who these preschoolers are at the St. Elizabeth childcare facility in Jersey City, New Jersey but we know that they love to sing. The moment that they took the stage was sure to be Internet viral gold.

Some of the parents didn’t necessarily want to go to see the performance but they were talked into it. Since that time, hundreds of thousands of people have seen it online.

Admittedly, the preschoolers are just a little bit nervous when they are first standing in front of the audience. Some of them are a little bit excitable, looking around and trying to find their family.

The routine is a choreographed performance and the children are supposed to stay in position and use their arms and hands.

Even though they weren’t supposed to sing necessarily, many of them couldn’t help but sing along with the Christmas tune that was playing in the background. When you think about the fact that the woman singing the song was only 13 when it was first recorded, it seems only fair.

Brenda Lee was 10 years old when she became a musical prodigy. Johnny Marks was a songwriter who wrote the song in 1958 for her to sing. He had already written some of the more popular songs of the day, including Holly Jolly Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. This new song, Rocking around the Christmas Tree was also destined to be popular.

The song is still known as a Christmas classic and when it was played in the 1990 film, Home Alone, it was sure to be popular from that point forward.

The kids finish the performance in a big way, raising their arms up in the air. You can never tell if the children are enjoying the performance more than the adults or not.

One thing that everyone knows, however, is that it was loads of fun. The children are singing and dancing and the parents are doing the same.

You will get that sentimental feeling when you watch this video.
