Ask any parent and they will tell you that having children was one of the best decisions they made in their life. Although it is true that there are going to be good days and bad days, the good days always seem to come out on top. If you were to ask the same parents about life before and after kids, they would tell you that life was never the same once the first child arrived. In fact, they likely would let you know that their life changed before the birth. From the moment that they knew that kids were on the way, their life was altered and was never the same.
Although in retrospect, we tend to focus on the positive, we also need to be realistic about our family life. Sure, kids are great but let’s be honest, there are going to be some frustrations that go along with it. This includes some days that are marked by some of the most epic tantrums we have ever seen. The funny thing about those episodes is the logic behind them. Parents will tell you that kids will cry for the strangest reasons and when they do, we have a choice to make. We can either allow their bad moment to ruin our day or we can make some lemonade from lemons.
