People may display talent in any number of different ways. For some, it is an ability to display a musical talent, regardless of whether it is singing or playing an instrument. Other people may dance and some may be good at a sport. There is one particular group of famous individuals, however, that are worthy of our attention. These are the people that are talented enough to make us laugh. When you see a comedian that is on the top of his game, it can leave you laughing all night long. Not only does that make you feel good on the inside, it may just make you feel good on the outside as well.
Although there are many comedians and each has their own style, there is one comedian that left his legacy many years ago. I’m talking about Rodney Dangerfield and if you’ve ever had the opportunity to enjoy his comedy, you realize that it was something that could make you laugh for all the right reasons. It wasn’t only his audiences that could laugh, however, it was also people who were in a position to be on the stage with him. That is what you see in this vintage video from 1978.
This older video shows Rodney Dangerfield appearing on the Johnny Carson show. He comes out, gives a standup routine and then goes to sit beside Johnny Carson to be interviewed. Just because the standup routine is over, however, does not mean that the jokes are over. He had Johnny Carson laughing until he was practically falling out of his chair.
Rodney Dangerfield is famous for many of his lines but perhaps one of the most famous is that he didn’t get any respect. Although he may have felt that way and got a lot of laughs for it, I would say he gets a lot of respect for what he brought to the table.
