Jackpot Winner Comes Forward In Disguise To Claim Winnings To Hide From Family

The world can be difficult sometimes, especially when you are dealing with financial problems. If you are somebody that lives for the next paycheck, you probably have done your fair share of dreaming about winning the lottery. What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in the winner’s circle? Where would you spend the money and how would you live your life? It seems like a popular concept but then again, you do need to be careful what you wish for.

Unfortunately, many people have won the lottery and rather than being happy with their winnings, they say that it ruined their lives. You are no longer simply seen as ‘one of the guys’ but now you are in a different category. It seems as if everybody you know, regardless of whether it is your family, friends or acquaintances, they are going to be coming out of the woodwork and asking for money.

A man in Jamaica had a rather interesting idea of how to deal with the stress of winning the lottery. When he came into claim the million dollar prize, he was wearing a full face mask from Scream.

The man is calling himself A. Campbell, and he won $1.15 million in United States money. He decided he would keep his identity a secret when he collected the prize so he wouldn’t have to share.

Some might cal this greedy but then again, Jamaica is not a very big island and it only has a population of about 3 million.

Winning the money was both good and bad for Campbell. He was struggling with the reality of it all and he waited 54 days to claim the prize. Because of the stress, he even got sick.

“I looked at my ticket and ran into my bathroom and said, ‘I won! I won!’ From the day I found out that I won, I’ve been sick.”

“My head hurt me for three days because I was thinking so much. [Wondering] if what I’ve been longing for really come true. I had a belly ache for two weeks, sometimes I feel so much pain I forgot that I had won,” Campbell said.

it’s interesting to hear about somebody who struggled financially but said that he was still stressing over winning the money. He has a goal of buying a home and doesn’t plan on struggling any longer.

“I want to get a house, I want to get a nice house. I haven’t found it yet, but I’ll be looking for one soon. I have a little business, so I plan to make it bigger, buy an apartment. I love to have money.”

It seems as if he has his head on straight when it comes to his winnings. The photo may be a little strange but I think he is right on target.

Campbell, who purchased the ticket on Omara Road in Kingston, said he found winning numbers, of 10, 14, 16, 25, 27 and the super ball 5, from a dream and purchased the ticket for $200.

He was the 17th winner of the Super Lotto from Jamaica.
