Historian Provides A Straight-Faced Interview With A Cat On His Head

It seems as if all we hear is negative news. It’s not that positive things are not happening but the news they choose to tell us is all negative. After all, it is what tends to capture our attention and that is really what they are interested in doing. When they have our attention they make more advertising dollars. Even though the news is negative, there are still times whenever it gets turned on its head. That is what happened in this video.

An interview was taking place with a Polish academic, Jerzy Targalski. He was talking on the Dutch news show, Nieuwsuur about the forced removal of the Supreme Court judge in Poland. It was definitely a serious situation and the news was rather bleak sounding but then something happened that gave us the opportunity to smile for once.

If you have a cat in your life, you probably have experienced times whenever they just want your attention. It’s obvious that Targalski’s cat also felt the same way. Suddenly, the feline appears, crawls up his arm and right onto his shoulder. While moving back and forth behind his head, his tail was flipping around in front of Targalski’s eyes. It had to be completely distracting!

The funny thing is, he didn’t miss a beat during this interview. Quite honestly, you have to see it to believe it:

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that his cats have found their way in front of the camera. When an interview was taking place with a Polish public broadcaster, the cat sneaks behind him on his shoulders and takes a nice nap.

The news may have been bad but the show was fantastic!
