It’s an age-old clique, but in many cases, it’s true. There are a lot of women out there who don’t follow sports, which usually means they don’t know all the rules of a certain game. And if you think about it, guys are the same way when it comes to certain hobbies or maybe even sports that they don’t follow. For example, put me on a tennis court and I might get a bit defensive when someone calls out “fault!” In any case, there are lots of teachable moments when learning about an unfamiliar sport, many of those moments can stem from some pretty hilarious questions. Such was the case in this fictional story about a guy who brings his girlfriend to her first football game.

They had great seats right behind their team’s bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked it.
“Oh, I really liked it,” she replied, “especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn’t understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents.”
Dumbfounded, her boyfriend asked, “What do you mean?”
“Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was ‘Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!’ I’m like…Helloooooo? It’s only 25 cents!”
