If you happen to live in a part of the world where it gets cold in the wintertime, then you may just see some snow falling at some point or another before spring arrives. In some parts of the world, it isn’t only a flurry here or there but they might experience one snowstorm after another. Sure, the first story is usually beautiful and you might even get a nostalgic feeling as you are watching the snowfall. Sooner or later, however, reality sets in and you start hating the storms more and more as the snow piles up.
If you have ever grumbled under your breath as the snow was falling, more than likely, you were thinking about the work that was ahead of you. Shovling snow is one of the more difficult jobs that we do in the winter and it even results in an increase in heart attacks. Sometimes, you just want to find another way to remove the ‘white stuff’ and it looks like a man in Amherst, Virginia has a perfect plan for it. Nathanael Caplinger hates shoveling snow so much that he came up with an idea to remove it without breaking a sweat. How would he do it? He used a flamethrower.
You heard it right, Nathanael decided that he would fight fire with fire (or snow with fire) and when you see the video below, you can quickly tell that the fire is winning. In fact, the snow is melting ‘like buttah’ under the flame.
I don’t know if I’ll ever get the chance to do this in my own driveway but that really doesn’t matter. Now that I’ve seen the method and have watched one man melt the snow in the blink of an eye, my life is complete.
