Dick Van Dyke Was A Special Guest Star On The Carol Burnett Show

When it comes to comedy, I’m sure that we all have our own personal likes and dislikes. At times, we may only want to watch something new and if we’ve heard it before, it may not be quite so funny. That isn’t always the case, however, and there are going to be times when a classic comedy routine is the best thing that you’ve ever seen. Sure, we’ve seen it many times before but it still makes us laugh every time.

Some of the old classic shows are perfect for getting a good laugh, even if you could recite every line in the show by heart. The Carol Burnett show had that ability and some of the regulars on the show, such as Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were good for a laugh every week. There were also some special guest stars who appear on the show from time to time and when they did, it took things to the next level. That was the case with Dick Van Dyke and he appeared on the Carol Burnett show to make us laugh time and again.

The clip that you see below of Dick Van Dyke is when he visited Carol Burnett. Carol was in the skit working on an electric office for the county and the two of them begin to have a strange conversation. It just seems to get funnier as the skit goes on and by the end, you can’t help but laugh out loud at everything that is taking place in front of you.

Dick Van Dyke is an amazing individual who has the ability to move an audience in so many different ways. You might remember him from some of his more famous movies, such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Mary Poppins but he also starred on the Carol Burnett show as a guest from time to time.
