Deleted Scenes From Elf They Should Have Left In The Movie

There are some movies that we tend to watch on occasion and we may have seen them more than once. Other movies, however, just continue to get better, every time we see them again. That includes many of the movies that we tend to watch around holiday time. When those movies are on the screen in front of us, it makes us feel nostalgic and we can’t help but smile, regardless of what is taking place on the screen. Perhaps one of the more iconic of those holiday movies is Elf, and I’m sure that we’ve seen it many times.

If you are somebody that loves the movie Elf, then you no doubt have watched it every year because it just means Christmas to many of us. What you may not realize, however, is that there was much more to the movie then most people are aware of. Sure, we get to watch the same movie over and over again every year but there were plenty of deleted scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor. After you see them, you realize that the movie could even have been better if they had been included in the flick.

The deleted scenes from Elf may be awesome, but there are a number of different reasons why they were not included in the movie. In some cases, it would’ve made the movie too long if they had included them and in others, it could’ve affected the storyline. Regardless of why they didn’t include them, it’s good that they kept them so that we could watch them at a later time.

Sometimes, we may feel as if deleted scenes and bloopers are even better than the original movie. There may be some truth to that but then again, there is a reason why the movie was so popular. Perhaps we should just let the editing decisions up to the editor and enjoy watching the movie as is.
