There are many ways to pass an afternoon. Most of us would probably say that we were too busy to waste time, between obligations with our family and our secular work. That being said, we may find ourselves with a few hours to kill in the middle of an afternoon and what is the best thing to do? You are likely to get a lot of different answers if you were to ask such a question but sooner or later, somebody would mention sitting down and watching some game shows. They have been a big part of our society for many years and some game shows have been around for decades.
More than likely, you could name a number of popular game shows that have stood the test of time. They include Jeopardy, Family Feud and many others. Perhaps one of the most popular game shows of all time, however, is The Price Is Right. Not only has it gone through a number of hosts, it also is one that is very predictable, so it’s enjoyable to watch. The premise behind the show is rather simple, people compete to win prizes by trying to guess the price of those prizes in unique ways. It’s always something interesting and if you watch it often enough, you may even have a favorite method that they use on the show.
When somebody makes it on The Price Is Right, they are called down from the studio audience to begin the process. The problem is, people get so excited that they often can’t contain themselves and they jump up out of their seat quickly and come running down as fast as they can, screaming the whole way. If they manage to make it on stage, the excitement only builds.
