Classic Carrol Burnett Outtakes – Mr. Tudball Interviews Mrs. Wiggins

When it comes to comedy, I’m sure that we all have our own personal likes and dislikes. Some people enjoy some of the newer comedy, which tends to shock people into laughing and at times, does so because it makes them feel uncomfortable. Other people, however, may enjoy sharing a good joke with friends or perhaps they might like watching a funny movie because they can make you laugh as well. Something else that you may want to consider if you enjoy laughing is watching an old comedian or a comedy act. After all, those classic performances still have the ability to make us laugh today and often, they make us laugh for all the right reasons.

Comedy was such a big thing a few decades ago that many of the funniest people had their own television show. That was the case with Carol Burnett, who had a variety show with guest stars that appeared weekly, such as Tim Conway and Harvey Korman. Not only did they enjoy making the audience laugh, because they performed in front of a live audience, they also did their best to try to make each other laugh as well. Sometimes, the show would make you laugh but if you saw the outtakes, it would make you laugh even more. That was especially true of some of the more classic skits that they did, such as Mrs. Wiggins and Mr. Tudball.

If you never had the opportunity to see this skit before, there are plenty of those posted on YouTube. The outtakes from the skit are also posted, and that is what you see below. There is something amazing that happens when comedians begin working together in this type of environment. It seems as if they try to outdo each other and it times, they may blow the scene, just for a good laugh.

They really seem to be having a great time as they worked together on the set. You can hear a little bit of frustration in the directors voice, however, as he was just trying to get a good take out of it. This is your opportunity to have a laugh for the day and you can do it by watching this video:
