Chris Farley And Patrick Swayze Compete In The Funniest Dance-Off

If there is one thing that we have become accustomed to seeing, it’s dance competitions. It seems everybody wants to get a slice of the pie and sometimes, even those who aren’t the best dancers. We see it on TV on shows like Dancing with the Stars and we see it online in YouTube videos. Sometimes, we just can’t help but marvel at the abilities that those dancers show. We may even try to emulate those dancers and learn how to do some dancing ourselves. We may never make it on TV, but we can still enjoy dancing at home.

It is not only dancing that tends to attract us, it is also comedy. It seems as if there are people out there who just have a built-in ability to make us laugh. More than likely, you have a favorite comedian that you love watching and you may enjoy sitting down to one of their movies or a skit whenever you have the opportunity. Many of those comedians got their start on Saturday Night Live, and that includes Chris Farley. He had an up-and-coming career with some of the funniest movies but unfortunately, his life was cut short. It wasn’t before he put on one of the funniest dance competitions of all time.

This skit is from Saturday Night Live and it shows just how funny Chris Farley could be. He was standing up beside Patrick Swayze in a sketch that is now known as ‘The Chippendale Sketch’. There is no doubt that Patrick Swayze was somebody to watch and his dance abilities were well known. Watching the two of them dance beside each other you can even see that Farley is able to keep up with those epic moves from Swayze.

Unfortunately, Chris Farley passed away due to a drug overdose and Patrick Swayze died from cancer. Even though they have been gone for a number of years, they still have the ability to make us laugh with the legacy that they left behind. This old sketch may be decades old but it is still one that we can love seeing and laugh at like it was the first time we ever saw it.
