The time has finally come once again and the children have gone back to school. The summertime was fantastic, with lots of time to relax and enjoy the sunshine but now, there is the excitement of walking back into a classroom and visiting with your friends on a regular basis. Along with school comes a number of other features, including homework, afterschool activities and, of course, talent shows. Perhaps you have even had some of these already this year.
It doesn’t matter if you are in school or if you just look back on the time when you were a student, it is the talent shows that often stand out in our minds. We get the opportunity to share our talents with others and we see the talents of those we go to school with, perhaps even recognizing them for the first time. That may have been the experience of some of the students at the Apollo High School. One group got together and decided to do something that would absolutely thrill the audience. They did something that nobody was expecting.
In the beginning, five of the seven students are sitting down in a row that is obviously a movie theater. They are getting ready to watch The Lion King but just as the movie is about to begin, a young couple enters the room. They want to sit beside each other but unfortunately, there aren’t two seats together so they end up sitting at opposite ends of the row.
As you can imagine, this would be a very frustrating situation for a young dating couple but the boyfriend has things well in hand. He comes up with a plan that would let them still enjoy a date, even though they were separated by five other people. He wasn’t about to let the separation ruin the evening.
The boy’s plan involves passing along some of the classic dating moves from his end of the row to her end of the row. Thankfully, the others who were sharing the aisle were happy to go along with his plan.
As he passes one thing after another down the row, the students and teachers who were watching the performance were roaring with laughter. Take a look at the video and you will see that it is well worth any laughter you throw its way:
